The National Trust for Canada’s Next Great Save competition, presented by Ecclesiastical Insurance is helping to revitalize outstanding heritage places across the country. We are fortunate that our project, the Rossland Drill Hall Arts and Innovation Centre, has been chosen, along with nine other finalists, to compete for the generous prize. Please spread the news to all your networks! We need your votes to help us bring this prize home to our community. The competing heritage place with the most public votes will receive $50,000 towards their project to save their place.
You can vote once one per day from January 20th to February 22nd. Go here to explore the ten finalists, and vote for your favourite project. Please note that once you click "vote," you will be sent a confirmation email, and you must click once more on that link to complete the process.
Visit our profile page here to find out more about the Drill Hall’s historical significance, details on the extensive renovation work needed to open it’s doors as the Rossland Drill Hall Arts and Innovation Centre, and a video that showcases our vision for the building's potential uses. The Rossland Arts Centre Society looks forward to convincing you, and other folks across Canada, that the Rossland Drill Hall deserves to be saved. Please help support us in the competition by voting daily, and by getting the word out to the community so we all can benefit from an arts and innovation hub right in the historic centre of our mountain town.
